Este cat\u00e9ter se utiliza para el acceso venoso central en pacientes que requieren administraci\u00f3n de medicamentos, fluidos o nutrici\u00f3n parenteral, as\u00ed como para la monitorizaci\u00f3n hemodin\u00e1mica. El objetivo del ensayo fue determinar la fuerza de ruptura en la uni\u00f3n entre el cono extensor y el componente r\u00edgido del cat\u00e9ter.
