Resumen
Con el objetivo de analizar las posibles pérdidas en caudalímetros utilizados para oxigenoterapia, se realizó una investigación de campo analizando distintas marcas comerciales de los mismos en dos instituciones de salud de la ciudad de Paraná, Entre Ríos, Argentina. Se eligieron 7 puntos de interés dentro de la escala de los caudalímetros analizados entre 5 litros/min y 15 litros/minuto, midiendo también el caudal suministrado cuando éste dispositivo está abierto totalmente. Se realizó un análisis estadístico de las mediciones tomadas, encontrando diferencias en los valores medidos cuando se trabaja a distintas presiones. Por último, los resultados de las mediciones de los caudalímetros utilizados fuera de escala arrojaron datos muy interesantes que sugieren futuras investigaciones que asocien la precisión y utilización de los caudalímetros con los efectos en los pacientes, sobre todo luego del intensivo uso de la oxigenoterapia durante la pandemia mundial por Cov-19.

Abstract
To be able to analyze the possible losses in flowmeters used for oxygen therapy, a field investigation was carried out analyzing different commercial brands of the same in two health institutions in the city of Paraná, Entre Ríos, Argentina. 7 points of interest were chosen within the scale of the flowmeters analyzed between 5 l/min and 15 l/min, also measuring the flow rate supplied when this device is fully open. A statistical analysis of the measurements taken was carried out, finding differences in the values measured when working at different pressures. Finally, the results of the measurements of the flowmeters used out of scale yielded very interesting data that suggest future research associating the precision and use of the flowmeters with the effects on the patients, especially after the intensive use of oxygen therapy during the global pandemic by Cov-19.
