Este modelo muestra el comportamiento t\u00e9rmico de cualquier superficie plana y permite predecir la temperatura o transferencia de calor en cualquier punto interior de la superficie en cualquier instante del tiempo. Para el desarrollo del modelo, se utiliza el software Octave a trav\u00e9s del m\u00e9todo num\u00e9rico de diferencias finitas (MDF) de dominios bidimensionales de forma rectangular. Este m\u00e9todo permite calcular soluciones aproximadas de la ecuaci\u00f3n diferencial que rige la transferencia de calor por conducci\u00f3n tanto en estado estacionario como en el transitorio. Los resultados de simulaci\u00f3n obtenidos son consistentes y aceptables para una primera aproximaci\u00f3n permitiendo reducir tiempo y costos en la realizaci\u00f3n de pruebas experimentales con cada uno de los posibles materiales a utilizar. Adem\u00e1s, se presenta la validaci\u00f3n del modelo a trav\u00e9s de la comparaci\u00f3n de sus resultados contra otro modelo ya validado.
