El estudio a campo se desarroll\u00f3 en un embalse asociado a un ambiente agr\u00edcola. All\u00ed se realiz\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis temporal, con observaciones en cuatro momentos en funci\u00f3n de la proximidad a la fecha de aplicaci\u00f3n del herbicida en el lote agr\u00edcola y al primer evento de precipitaci\u00f3n que gener\u00f3 escurrimiento. La fitotoxicidad se evalu\u00f3 sobre biomasa seca por fronde (BF) y contenido total de clorofila (CTC). Durante 15 d\u00edas, en condiciones controladas se ensayaron 8 tratamientos con exposici\u00f3n a concentraciones de glifosato que variaron entre 0 y 15 mg\/L. Se determin\u00f3 el crecimiento poblacional, CTC y longitud de ra\u00edz. A campo, la inhibici\u00f3n significativa de BF y CTC registrada a posteriori del evento de precipitaci\u00f3n no se pudo asociar a concentraciones de glifosato en el cuerpo de agua. Estos efectos podr\u00edan ser atribuidos al escurrimiento de otros agroqu\u00edmicos que no fueron analizados. En laboratorio se verific\u00f3 efecto fitot\u00f3xico sobre la longitud radical a partir de concentraciones de 0.2 mg\/L. La informaci\u00f3n generada contribuye al diagn\u00f3stico de riesgo de contaminaci\u00f3n por herbicidas en agroecosistemas.
